Male characters

So I just realized that my current WIP only has one important male character. I'm not sure if I should do something about this or not.

writing YA

I sometimes feel isolated from the rest of the writing community because I write YA fantasy. All of the writers I find who identify with this genre seem to either be writing epic fantasy for teenagers or about vampires. It's even harder when trying to write YA sci-fi. So, please, if there are any other YA fantasy authors who feel the same way, contact me so we can chat ;-;
